Tomato Beef


Cooking time: About 15 minutes
Prep time: About 35 minutes

Makes: 2 servings





  1. Vigorously shake corn starch, wine and soy sauce in covered jar to remove lumps and dissolve corn starch. Add oil and shake. Pour into bowl and add beef. Marinade for 30 minutes or more.

  2. Mix ingredients for gravy in bowl.

  3. When meat is ready, cook in hot wok for 5 minutes. Remove to bowl with gravy.

  4. Clean wok, reheat, and add 1 T. olive oil. Stir fry green pepper 3 minutes. Add yellow onion and continue 2 more minutes. Add green onions and fry 2 minutes.

  5. Add meat and gravy to wok, add tomatoes, and stir fry 30 seconds. Serve over steamed rice.
