Pickled Onions
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: several days in refrigeratorMakes: about 3 - 4 cups
Ingredients
- 7 - 8 oz. Red onion
Directions
- When a 24 oz. jar of dill pickles is empty, save the jar and brine.
- Quarter the onion through the stem and cut into 1/4 inch thick arcs.
- Pack onion in brine, cap and store in refrigerator a few days.
- Sprinkle in salads or on hot dogs.
