Split Pea Soup


  

Cooking time: 40 minutes
Preparation time: 10 minutes

Makes: 6 servings

  1. Pick over and rinse peas well. Add all ingredients, cover, and boil 20 minutes.

  2. Turn down heat and simmer 20 minutes more.

  3. Mash peas with potato masher.
