Hungarian Goulash


Prep time: About 15 minutes
Cooking time: About 1 1/4 hour

Makes: 4 servings




Directions -

  1. Heat 1 t. oil in a wok or heavy skillet. Brown sausage and ham 5 minutes. Remove.
  2. Coat beef with a mixture of flour, salt and pepper.
  3. Add 2 t. olive oil to wok and heat. Cook beef 5 minutes in hot oil, turning to brown all sides. Set aside.
  4. Heat remaining 1 T. of olive oil in wok.
  5. Stir-fry green pepper, onions, and garlic 5 minutes.
  6. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
  7. Serve with boiled potatoes and sauerkraut. Top each serving with 1 T. sour cream.
