Easy Split Pea Soup

Ingredients
- 1 t. olive oil
- 1/2 cup chopped sweet onion
- 1/4 cup chopped carrots
- 3/4 cup dry split pea soup mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/8 t. Louisiana hot sauce
Directions
- Heat olive oil in small pan. Saute onions and carrots 10 minutes.
- Add soup mix and water. Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
- Add hot sauce and serve.
